BuyAndSellVan ("we", "us", "the platform") operates an online marketplace that connects people buying and selling vans and related commercial vehicles. These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and BuyAndSellVan. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a legally binding contract to use BuyAndSellVan. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to act for that business. You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.
When you post a listing, you are responsible for its accuracy. By listing a van you confirm that:

BuyAndSellVan is a venue that connects buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any sale. We do not own, inspect, or take possession of the vans listed, and we do not verify the accuracy of listings or the identity of users beyond the account details provided. Any contract of sale is made directly between the buyer and the seller. You are responsible for carrying out your own checks — including inspecting the van, verifying documentation and history, confirming finance status, and arranging safe payment — before completing a transaction.
Where online payment features are offered, they may be provided through third-party payment processors. Those processors have their own terms, and your use of them is subject to those terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any payment processor.
Any fees for using particular features will be made clear before you incur them. Where no fee is stated, that feature is provided free of charge. We may change our fees in future, but changes will not apply retroactively to listings already posted.
The BuyAndSellVan name, branding, design, and software are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by law. You retain ownership of the content you post, but by posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, host, and promote that content in connection with operating the platform.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that listings are accurate, complete, or lawful. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties relating to the platform and its content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuyAndSellVan will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a transaction between users, from reliance on a listing, or from your inability to use the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You agree to indemnify and hold BuyAndSellVan harmless from any claims, losses, or costs arising from your listings, your use of the platform, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these terms.
We may suspend or close your account, or remove your content, if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the platform poses a risk to other users or to us. You may close your account at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Please only include contact details you are comfortable sharing publicly. Your account email is not shown on a listing unless you enter it as a contact detail.

The platform uses some third-party services to function, including a hosting and authentication provider for accounts and data, an external exchange-rate service for currency conversion, and a translation service for on-page language switching.
